Field trip

Today Brett's class took a field trip to CityArts. They had a full day of art--making clay sculptures, stained glass projects, drawing and making stamps.

I stopped by for a little bit to see Brett's progress:

from white bread and paint.



When the kids had made their animal
or flower, they were all added to this scene.

Next, the class got to make stained glass items. Brett chose to make a caterpillar. He chose blue, green and yellow glass stones for his.

Brett gets help soldering his caterpillar.

Brett also got a drawing lesson and even go to sketch a real model!
