Christmas kisses
Again this year, our friend Beckie made the boys a Christmas kiss rope, a unique way to count the days until Christmas.
She wraps 25 chocolate kisses in colored Saran wrap and separates each kiss with a ribbon. The kids get to unwrap one kiss each day, and when they do, they have to give their mom and dad a kiss.

That's a very clever idea. It's fun to see homemade ideas like that. At Target this weekend, I saw that they were SELLING paper chains for $6 or $7. And yes, I mean the kind where you link loops of paper strips. The kind I made when I was five. Do people really not have time to make things like that anymore?
